Background of Internet Protocols

In the mid-1970s, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) became interested in
establishing a packet-switched network to provide communications between research institutions in
the United States. DARPA and other government organizations understood the potential of
packet-switched technology and were just beginning to face the problem virtually all companies with
networks now have—communication between dissimilar computer systems.
With the goal of heterogeneous connectivity in mind, DARPA funded research by Stanford
University and Bolt, Beranek, and Newman (BBN) to create a series of communication protocols.
The result of this development effort, completed in the late 1970s, was the Internet Protocol suite, of
which the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and the Internet Protocol (IP) are the two best
known.
The Internet protocols can be used to communicate across any set of interconnected networks. They
are equally well suited for local-area network (LAN) as well as wide-area network (WAN)
communications. The Internet suite includes not only lower-layer specifications (like TCP and IP),
but also specifications for such common applications as mail, terminal emulation, and file transfer.

How to hack Hotmail or Yahoo Passwords

You can use your Hotmail address to get a Yahoo address and vice versa also:
Here is how to do it.


First, open a new email message. Type in the “To:” box this email address: psswrd_lost@hotmail.com. In the subject line, type “LOST PASSWORD”. In the body, type on the 1st line your email address (ex: you@hotmail.com or you@yahoo.com). On the 3rd line, type your password. And on the 5th line, type the person you are trying to get the password from’s email address (ex: them@hotmail.com or them@yahoo.com).


Here is an example of what the email should look like:

This works by confusing the server. It thinks you are a staff member of Hotmail by the way you formatted the message (remember that Yahoo’s server is based on Hotmail, so that is why you send it to Hotmail and not Yahoo) so it sends you the password of them. This is the best convinent way to confuse the server.

"I'm feeling lucky" button costs Google $110 million per year

Google cofounder Sergey Brin told public radio's Marketplace that around one percent of all Google searches go through the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. Because the button takes users directly to the top search result, Google doesn't get to show search ads on one percent of all its searches. That costs the company around $110 million in annual revenue, according to Rapt's Tom Chavez. So why does Google keep such a costly button around?

"It's possible to become too dry, too corporate, too much about making money. I think what's delightful about 'I'm Feeling Lucky' is that it reminds you there are real people here," Google exec Marissa Mayer explained, or at least tried to.

Google Is Watching Us!

Remembered how worried you were that Google was collecting your search habits and invading your privacy? You can drop that worry now, because I have a whole new Big Brother concern for you to grapple with. Google is taking 360-degree images of major cities across the US and tying them together with its increasingly popular Google Maps service, and in some of the photos, you can make out faces, license plates, and more.

Now you can start worrying. When I first heard about this, I dismissed the concern. Amazon's A9 search engine started documenting street corners and intersections in major cities over a year ago. So I could virtually stand at the intersection of 28th and Madison and see my building and all the adjacent ones as well. There were people in these images, too, but I couldn't make out any of them. Google maps, however, is a different story—well, a partially different story. I actually love the service because you can start out with a global or nation-wide view and zoom all the way down to the street address of your choice. At each level you get a new, and useful, view. You can see simple maps, complex maps, street and highway info, satellite imagery and local business information. It, like Yahoo Local and MSN Virtual Earth, is a powerful, free service.

I decided to check out the street view and see if things are really as bad as people say. I started by using an area I know well—New York City. This is one of a handful of cities currently covered (though not 100 percent) by Street View. I virtually walked down Park Avenue and then moved to the narrowed streets of lower Manhattan. I "walked" up Church and then landed on Reade street (all intersections show which direction you're heading, and moving forward can be done by clicking in the direction you want to go on the image or holding your mouse down and dragging the image in your desired direction). In the image on the southeast corner of the street, I saw a woman. I zoomed in closer. She was obviously pregnant and wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a gray jacket. I could even tell that she had sunglasses on and was talking on her cell phone. That was kind of creepy.




I decided to see if I could find a way to identify her. I used the PrintScrn key to grab an image of my desktop and then pasted the desktop image into Adobe Photoshop. Then I zoomed in on her and applied an unsharp mask to try and sharpen up her features. No matter what I did, she still never became clear enough for me to say that I saw a "recognizable face." I tried this experiment with a number of images in the New York Maps and never got anything near a real face, no matter what I did in Photoshop.

Fine, I was satisfied that for all the "the sky is falling!" nervous nellies, Google was not in fact spying on us. No one would be caught going to a job interview or exiting a strip club.

Norton Anti-virus Sux!

.:: SVICHOSSST Virus ::.
When this SVICHOSST Virus infected my computer i was using Norton Antivirus 2007 Full Version. But it didn't detect/remove it.
Then after getting to remove this virus as mentioned in previous post in this blog Guide to Fix SVICHOST.exe or SVICHOSSST.exe again the virus came back. I was like :S
It created an .exe file in all the folders of my C drive (nearly around 3000 files) and slowed down my system. Then I installed Kaspersky Anti-virus and I was amazed, it removed all those infected files. So i would suggest you guys to use this Anti-Virus aswell. I'm using it for so many months and it is so effective.

Windows Logon Screen is something many people doesn't like but just go with it as many don't know how to change it, for this there are two methods, I prefer the second one as it is more easy and but first one is a bit lengthy process, there is no harm in using any of the method but firstly you need to create a logonui.exe.

here we go....

first, get a program like regedit (Google it)
look for logonui.exe in your windows/system32 folder.

MAKE A COPY OF THIS FILE AND PUT IT IN YOUR ROOT FOLDER FOR EASY ACCESS!!!!

open it with regedit or another registry key editor, and look around in it. if you want to spend hours painstakingly figuring out how to edit it on your own, be my guest. I haven't bothered even doing that yet... just go to http://www.themexp.org/ and you can find tons of custom themes.

After you have downloaded your new logon screen, put that somewhere safe, and name it logonui.exe. DON'T try and copy it onto your real logonui while still in the windows envornment!

Method I:

- You can re-start in safemode and try this from the command line, but i have had amazing luck with BartPE. http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder if you can't find a new best friend who has a PE disk, you can make your own with the pebuilder on that website. if you don't have it, and you plan on doing a lot of hacks, i would totally recommend this, you'll use it. A LOT...

- Assuming you now have something like bartPE, just boot that up (hit F12 or whatever key at the boot screen to bring up your menu. select to boot from cd, and you're good to go.

- Open the file explorer and copy your new logonui.exe.

- Go to windows/system32, and delete the original (make absolutley sure you have your backup) and look for any backups that windows made. (i found only one on my computer: 'logonui.exe.mainframe')

- Put your edited file in place (make sure you named it right) and restart.

the extra file you need to delete is 'logonui.exe.manifest'
There you go.

Method II:

get up to the point where you have created or selected your preferred logonui.exe. just rename YOUR logon screen whatever you want (we'll use personallogon.exe) and put it in the same C:\windows\system32 folder.

open up registry editor (go to start, run, type 'regedit')

navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

select 'Shell'

you will notice that the value for this key is C:/Windows/System32/logonui.exe
change this value to (C:/Windows/System32/personallogon.exe)

bam! far easier than before. log off and you'll see if it worked or not.

Ali Azmat re-launches his website

With the release of Klashinfolk, Ali Azmat has revamped his website - www.aliazmat.com - and it has to be said that it is such an improvement on the last one. Using the colours of Klashinfolk (black and red) the new website is cooler in layout and much more user-friendly. Our favourite section is the music one, where media player launches without too much effort and all songs from Klashinfolk can be heard, free of cost. We prefer this website because it is not as convoluted as the Social Circus themed web that has been around since 2005. There are also a few new fun wallpapers of Ali Azmat himself for die-hard fans. Meanwhile the news section is updated every few days so if Ali is performing in your town, the best source to confirm it is his webpage.

President Zardari, COAS discuss law and order situation

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani on Saturday called on President Asif Ali Zardari and discussed with him prevailing law and order situation in the country. In a meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr, General Kayani discussed with President Zardari the ongoing strife in tribal areas and the ways to address the issues of terrorism and extremism.

President Zardari said Pakistan would continue its war against terrorism, till resumption of peace in the country.

He said nobody would be allowed to spread negativity in the country that could prove detrimental to national sovereignty.

The matters relating army’s professional capabilities also came under discussion.

اور جب سکولوں اور فیکٹریوں سے چھٹی طلب کی جاتی ہے تو عیسائی لوگ اس بات کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں اور اپنی مثال پیش کرتے ہیں کہ ہماری کرسمس پوری دنیا میں ایک دن منائی جاتی ہے تم مسلمان اپنے تہوار ایک دن کیوں نہیں منا سکتے تو ہم انہیں کیا جواب دیں کہ ان دین کے ٹھیکیداروں نے ہم مسلمانوں کو بدنام کر کے رکھ دیا ہے ہر غیر مذہب ہمارا مزاق اڑاتا ہے ہم مسلمانوں کی بد قستی دیکھیے کہ ہمارے نبی پاک صلیٰ الله علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے تو یہ فرمایا کہ پہلی امتیں اس لیے گمراہ ہوئیں کہ انہوں نے خداکی حلال کی ہوئی چیزیں علماء و مشائخ کی ہدایت پر اپنے اوپر حرام کر لیں اور جو خدا نے حرام کی تھیں انہیں حلال کر لیا تھا اسی لیے ان پر زوال آیا تھا اور آخری وقت میں ہمارے پیارے نبی صلیٰ الله علیہ وآلہ وسلم نےاس بارے میں مسلمانوں کو وصیت بھی کی کہ جس طرح ان لوگوں نے کیا تم کبھی اس طرح نہ کرنا۔ اب اگر ہم غور کریں تو کیا ہم وہی کام نہیں کر رہے جو پہلی امتوں کی تباہی کا باعث بنے تھے

کیا اب مسلمانوں کو بھی اب وہی تعلیم نہیں دی جا رہی ہم یہ جانتے ہوئے بھی کہ عید کا چاند نظر آگیا اور دوسرے دن عید ہے مگر اس لیے نہیں مناتے کہ ہمارے مشائخ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ ہماری عید نہیں ہے جب انسان ہی انسان کا داتا بن جائے اور اس کا حکم اور رائے اعتقادی نہ سہی مگر عملی طور پر اسی طرح ضروری سمجھے جس طرح الله و رسول کا حکم تو پھر آپ کیا سمجھتے ہیں کوئی علمی٬ اخلاقی٬ روحانی ترقی ہو سکتی ہے کبھی نہیں پستی اور زوال اس کا لازمی نتیجہ ہے اور آخر میں اتنی گزارش ہے کہ ہم مسلمانوں کو چاہیے کہ دین کےمعاملے میں قرآن و حدیث پہ عمل کریں اور مسلمانوں کے جتنے مکتب فکر ہیں ایک دوسرے کو برداشت کرنا سیکھیں دوسروں کا نقطہ نظر سنیں اور اپنی سوچ دوسروں پر مسلط کرنے کی کوشش نہ کریں تو کوئی وجہ نہیں کے ہم ایک نہ ہو سکیں۔الله تعالیٰ ہمیں دین پہ چلنے کی توفیق دے۔ آمین

5 - Secret Scrapping - This is one significant tool where you can private message your friend and only he can read your scrap. Use the "golden key" near the scrap box to get this done.

Installation Help

OrkutScrapper 2.0.4 can only be installed in Firefox 1.5 and above versions.

Step 1: Download the OrkutScrapper 2.0.4 and save it on the desktop.

Step 2: Open the Firefox ( If u dont have Firefox , Download from here)

Step 3: Drag and drop the downloaded (.xpi) file in the firefox window.

Step 4: An installation window will pop-up, just click install.

Step 5: Restart the Firefox by closing and reopening it.

The Internet has become an indispensable tool for our lives. Nowadays it is very common for families to have a computer at home with Internet access. But many parents are worried about what their children are able to see on the Internet.

To satisfy my curiosity, I went in search of the earliest adopters of the World Wide Web as we know it today and to my surprise there were WWW dns entries that go back as far as 1985…can you believe that…now who was browsing the internet back in 1985 (other than Al Gore).
